Nail bar, London Grace affords the female business traveler a ‘home away from home’ beauty experience
And whilst this nail salon in London promotes healthy nail services and nail treatments minus cuticle cutting and extensions, salon services can be enjoyed alongside a coffee or two at their independent coffee shop.
Clients can also have drinks at their fun cocktail bar.
Appealing to the fun-loving city fashionista who appreciates a fuss-free manicure -as well as spending time socializing with her girlfriends- and London Grace attracts businesswomen visiting the capital and who want to meet here and enjoy salon services with colleagues.
Exposed brick walls, statement light fixtures and soft furnishings create a welcoming home-from-home environment where they can relax and unwind for as long as they chose.
They can also pop in for nail treatments or a manicure or a pedicure at this London nail salon and then work on their laptops whilst enjoying a delicious coffee and healthy, locally sourced food.
‘Of course many women traveling to London for business may also have colleagues they’d like to visit whilst in the city and London Grace is the perfect spot – there’s nothing better than catching up over nails and cocktails,’ says founder, Kirsten Hazell.
In fact night openings at both nail bar locations are until 10 pm, treatments last no longer than 45 minutes and the brand’s user-friendly online booking system means it’s easy to secure an appointment around any busy lifestyle.
Kirsten, who has been awarded ‘Young Business Person of the Year’ at the 2016 FSB London Business Awards as well as ‘Best New Business’ at the 2015 FSB Awards and ‘Best shop in Putney’ at the 2015 Timeout Love London Awards, first conceived her idea in 2013.
During her time studying in New York City enjoying a manicure and a coffee quickly became a way of life for her and something that she relished during any day of the week.
On returning to London Kirsten noticed that there was a lack of nail bars like she’d enjoyed in New York and so began to find ways to transform weekly manicure maintenance into a fun, social experience.
She says, ‘The name London Grace came to me in two parts.
‘I chose ‘London’ because it captures the cosmopolitan environment and vibrancy of the brand and ‘Grace’ to reflect the relaxing, graceful experience we have created for our clients.’
Included in seven different treatments are 15 minute polishes and 30 minute Shellac treatments whereby clients can pop in for a coffee and manicure and walk out feeling happy with beautiful, luxury-looking nails.
Popular treatments at London Grace are the Hunky Dory treatments which includes a shape, buff and polish application.
There are also a myriad of nail polish colors to chose from which includes London Grace’s own natural brand which is toxin-free.
‘In terms of our products, the London Grace Cuticle oil is a popular take away item to keep nails nourished in between treatments.’ adds Kirsten.
And she explains why the services at London Grace are particularly appealing to women on-the-go who prefer natural looking nails.
‘I started London Grace with no prior experience in the beauty industry so I approached everything with a fresh perspective.
‘I felt there was too much choice and decided to streamline our treatment menu with a ‘no nonsense’ approach, so unlike many other nail bars we don’t offer acrylics, nail art and our treatments are performed are dry.
‘Our ethos is ‘healthy, happy nails’ so it was important to develop our own range of polishes that are five-free to promote this.’
