American Airlines AAdvantage Program continues to  sit at the top of the list of the world’s best airline loyalty programs with some quality airline rewards.

Generally as an AAdvantage member, customers can earn miles
on American and oneworld® and other participating airlines and 1,000 partners.

After that they can use their miles to:

  • Book flights to nearly 1,000 destinations worldwide.
  • Secure upgrades to  First or Business Class.
  • Book vacations, car rentals and hotels.
  • Various other retail products

Customers and frequent flyers can also buy, share or gift miles.

Their fantastic Elite program has three levels – Gold, Platinum and Executive Platinum.

If customers are Elite status members then they can enjoy a myriad of benefits including preferred seats, upgrades and mileage bonuses. They can also qualify for Executive Platinum, Platinum or Gold status with miles, points or segments.

Elite customers are also within the oneworld alliance which offers convenient service on the world’s leading airlines across nearly 1,000 destinations worldwide.

The Million Miler program is a special honor whereby travelers achieve AAdvantage Gold status for the life of the program.

Other developments for the brand taking place is that American Airline customers are now able to book flights between Los Angeles International Airport and Sydney Airport, ready for the non-stop route.

American Airlines will be servicing this flight path with their flagship, Boeing 777-300ER which provides international frequent flyers with one of the best travel experiences in the world. These aircrafts have fully lie-flat seats and walk-up bars in the premium cabins.

Their Admiral Club lounges and Flagship lounges are also being revamped at airports across the world over the next several years.

Upgrades for frequent flyers have started in Pheonix and Sao Paolo with New York City and Los Angeles planned for later this year. All progressions  and developments are all part of American Airlines $2 billion investment in the customer experience.
