Private Yoga Classes on a Rooftop in LA

‘Helipad Yoga’ or rooftop yoga is taking place at a hotel in Los Angeles

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts incorporates private yoga classes into its list of amenities for hotel guests.

After celebrating and partnering with Global Wellness Day in the summer of 2015 the company’s wellness initiatives were highlighted even further.

Ever since, the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles At Beverly Hills has been providing private yoga classes to guests on its rooftop helipad.

The hotel first introduced the class on Global Wellness Day where the yogi and wellness ambassador Rainbeau Mars led a packed Sunrise Yoga session.

And because demand for this yoga class was so great, the hotel then decided to integrate it into its health and fitness rosta.

Yogis who are staying at the hotel can now enjoy their private yoga classes on the rooftop whilst taking in views of Beverly Hills, as well as local landmarks such as the Hollywood sign.

This 17th floor space has been out of bounds for hotel guests for many years, but now private yoga classes of up to 25 guests take place at sunrise and sunset.

Known at the hotel as ‘Helipad Yoga’ the group fitness classes are led by leading Californian yoga instructors and can be organized for guests – numbers permitting.

Complimentary juices are available after each group yoga session together with wellness menus which offer healthy meal options throughout the day at the hotel.

Favorite choices of food are the anti-oxident salad as well as seared salmon with quinoa.

Helipad yoga classes are only available to private groups of up to 25 which serves to instill feelings of harmony, community and clarity between yoga devotees.

As they enjoy yoga together they can also take in views of the skyline Downtown in the east and the towers of Century City in the west.

Alongside these group yoga classes, Blue Clay Fitness, (a fitness company established at the hotel), are also offering signature group classes called Blue Clay Fusion. These  fitness classes are also part of the Four Seasons Helipad fitness programs.

Otherwise, guests staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, can always access customized workouts on Ipads in their suites and rooms.

And of course there’s the fully equipped open-air fitness center which is located on the 4th floor and can be enclosed during inclement weather in Los Angeles.

The hotel’s outdoor pool is located on the same floor and is surrounded by a tropically landscaped terrace.
